Art
A Message from Ms. Ferrer
Class Overview
Welcome to Art! Students have Art once a week and the opportunity to have more art experiences during special Art coverages and Arts Block Units in 5th and 6th Grades. I believe in teaching art as a tool that helps you learn how to see the world as individuals and as a community.
We focus on creating meaningful experiences for our students through technology integration, innovation, and creativity.
During the year, classes will draw and paint, work in clay, do sewing and weaving, build sculptures, explore printmaking, create group projects, and learn about artists and themselves!
Art Class Expectations in regards to Grading:
- Understanding of Concepts

A Message from Mr. James
This year in P.E. we are going to discover new ways of learning how to work together, explore a variety of fitness and movement concepts, and find new ways to practice P.E. skills. I am looking forward to another great year at Crocker Farm!

A Message from Mr. Bard
Hi! I’m Justin, but the students call me Mr. Bard. In my class, students explore a lot of important technological topics such as digital safety, programming, robotics, and important tools that aid in success as a young learner.
I live in Amherst with my wife, Tamara, and my two children, Noah and Oona. I love spending time with my family, going on walks, and bike rides in our neighborhood. I also really love to play music. I play (and sometimes teach) guitar, drums, piano, and bass. I use technology to record the music I create.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
