  • Special thank you from the PGO to all of our community members for a job well done this year!


  • Heartfelt thanks to all of our wonderful teachers, staff members and parents/guardians for making Science Fair Evening and Ice Cream social (last week) such a terrific success!  Here are some photos of the displays for you to enjoy!  We'd also like to thank EVERYONE who helped with the tag sale and electronics recycling.  Your efforts help all of our children delight in new books and interesting field trips!  THANKS Crocker Community!
  • The African American Achievement Awards committee is seeking photos for their Facebook page. The Facebook page is called "African American Achievers of Amherst" and is meant to showcase the accomplishments of ARPS students (elem/ms/hs).  Parents, guardians, staff and students are invited to post photos from AAAA night, civic awards, ARHS graduation (students in stoles), athletics events, fine & performing arts performances, community service projects, etc. Students should get permission from parents/guardians before posting photos. Additional information can be obtained through Dr. Shirley Whitaker

District News

    Last Day of School for 2013-2014

    Currently the Amherst and Pelham elementary schools and the Amherst Regional Middle School have been closed a total of seven (7) days during the 2013-2014 school year, and Amherst Regional High School has been closed for eight (8). 

    The last day of school is now Wednesday, June 25 for all schools except ARHS.  The last day for ARHS is Thursday, June 26.

  • The school system has implemented a restriction on nuts and nut products. Click here for the Allergy Aware policy.

  • New Centralized Elementary Registration Process:  New students who will attend grades K-6 in any of the Amherst Elementary Schools will now register at the Superintendent's Office located in the Amherst Regional Middle School building at 170 Chestnut Street. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Sasha Figueroa, Elementary Registrar, at 362-1810.
